Fresh Pineapple Salsa made with sweet pineapples, onions, jalapeños and more!
Pineapples are one of my favorite fruits to enjoy. In fact, they never last more than 24 hours in my house! The sweet acidic fruit bursting with flavors is simply a delight. I love that you can enjoy this fruit in a variety of ways whether in sweet or savory dishes!

It’s no surprise that a fresh Pineapple Salsa made with sweet pineapples, onions, jalapeños, and more is the perfect salsa to enjoy throughout the summer. It’s the perfect salsa to garnish on Roasted Pork, Pollo al Horno, or even your favorite tacos. This salsa takes less than 10 minutes to prepare.
The beauty with this easy salsa recipe is that you can make it ahead of time and it will actually taste better. Preparing the salsa in advance allows for the flavors to settle and come alive. Feel free to add this sweet salsa to the rotation of others such as: Pico de Gallo, Salsa Verde, and even Peruvian Green Sauce.
Now if pineapples alone aren’t your thing, you can always add diced mangoes to the mix. Also note that you can make this salsa recipe as spicy and as sweet as you like. Sometimes when the pineapples are a little too tart, I’ll add a tablespoon or two of honey. That hint of sweetness balances everything out.
No worries if spicy salsas are not your favorite. You can omit the fresh spicy peppers altogether. You can even add tomatoes or add powdered cayenne if you don’t have fresh peppers handy.
